The full fendered '40's fastbacks are commonly referred to as potatoes, but they are my favorite body style.

A great post, Ben. Love the video. I have not been a fan of this body style in the past. But it is quickly growing on me.

Two Brooklin models that look fantastic together. Great minds think alike as I got my two out today for a photoshoot as well. I actually brought out several models to have a guest shot w/the '46 Pontiac. I do love that model. I have to say, it is my most favorite model this year, and that's saying a lot since I've purchased a bunch of them.

Great pictures Ben. I received the Pontiac today and displayed it next to the Oldsmobile before I saw this post.

My love for these 40's cars was most definitely an acquired taste John. I was a muscle car fan first (late 60's-early 70's cars), then my tastes grew into the 50's cars, then the 40's and 30's.....and with Sergio's help, I am slowly getting hooked on the everyday drivers of the 60's, especially the Buicks and Oldsmobiles.....it will take me some time to get a taste for some of the early to mid 60's Mopars, especially the '61 Plymouths.......they were surely some ugly ducklings to my eyes.

Brooklin has done a fantastic job on this new Pontiac.

I knew I wasn't the only one that thought these two beautiful models would look great together Bob.....even John Merritt had the same idea!

What a perfect pairing, and great pics! Well done on both accounts.

That's one of my favorite things to do with my collection, figuring out which cars display well together.

Why don't I find that hard to believe John? 😍

I, um.., suffer from the model obsession badly. I've been seeking professional assistance, but it doesn't work. I see a model, and the urge to have it in my collection is just too strong. It has led me down a dark path where boxes arrive several days a week. I am trying to get better, but the outcome still looks bleak... LOL!
