I love the ad. Jaguar did many beautiful cars, and my favorite is the E-Type.

Question for you 1/43 scale collectors. I do not remember Brooklin Models doing any Jaguar cars. Anyone know why?

I rather like the new one, as well as the classics.

Sadly, a desperate effort to come back from their disastrous "re-launch" and terrible initial "advertisement". I am not a fan of EV autos, so this is a complete failure in my view.

Thank you John. A good ad that does a better job of selling ‘Jaguar’ than any other over the last two years.
My extended family have owned Jaguars since the late 1940s and I fell in love with them during their Le Mans victories and participation in the 1950s. They have been a major part of my model collecting since then.
Unfortunately, I am not happy with the current trend and they seem to under present ownership be destined for bankruptcy. I don’t mind the look of the advertised new electric but it is not for me. They need a reborn Malcolm Sayer.

@ed-davis

Back in the 1970s, I was in the same club as John Hall, the creator of Brooklin Models. John told me that he disliked Jaguars. We had friendly arguments about them. Certainly, early Brooklins were all about Americana. John’s opinions unfortunately carried into then Lansdowne range as I don’t see any Jaguars.

Thank goodness for Milestone, Western Models and others.
