I hate it when you do this John. I love both of these and they are likely my two favourite road cars from the 1960s, but have to put that Jaguar E-Type ahead, despite my love for James Bond 007.

Jaguar for me too. It's sensational.

Also, I prefer DB4's open headlights. That might have changed my mind.

While I like the Bond tie-in, for me, Astons are more about that incredible song the engine sings. The Jag is beautiful but I'd go for the driving experience of the AM.
