Well; there was that one time John. It was a pink slip race. The guy who lost had to give up his sub. Here's the winner taking it home....

Quite true, but we carried it over to mean any time you were parked anywhere [like Drive-ins] and you went below the top of the seat line of sight, hence sub racing.
