Here, a beautiful 3-tone Rambler Cross Country rolls merrily back down this scary, non guard-railed mountainside road as the woman waves happily to the photographer and the kids smile in the back seat. Bon Voyage on the exciting trip !

Those Rambler wagons were beautiful cars and just made for family fun.

It is certainly a good-looking and beautiful automobile, Bob, in either 4-door sedan, or, as here, station wagon form. And in 1957 it would have a V-8 engine !

@bob-jackman +1  I always liked the 50s and 60s Ramblers; especially the wagons.

.....these cars were not only pretty cool, but also very well-built.  IMO, the Rambler unibody scale model was one of the BEST promo cars ever issued.   This was the model; nothing more was available for this.

Drive a Rambler... live a little!    😎 😎 😎

Actually Steve I do NOT own this one but last time I checked they're still available for reasonable money, as thousands were made. However, I think (I'm not certain ) these were at 1/20 scale, or at least larger than the standard 1/25 scale promo.

I've seen these model shows; they're even cooler in person!  😎 😎 😎

BTW, how many collectors here are lucky enough to have model shows / sales local to where they live ? I'm very lucky and will post some pics from the last show that I attended. You won't believe what's available .... I'm referring to model cars model airplanes model battleships anything you can ever think of. I consider myself very, very lucky.
