The year, make and model can be found by placing your curser over the picture or by enlarging the image by clicking on it.  To get info on the car, goggle the year, make and model.

I had no idea the C3 was designed by Vignale. It seems many US manufacturers were turning to the Italian workshops at this time; notably for sports cars.

Ahh, the properly refined British sports car. What? Wait - seriously? Designed by an Italian, for Briggs Cunningham to race at LeMans. Made in Palm Beach Florida and powered by a Chrysler?? I LOVE it! Especially nice is the drop top:

Cunningham produced interesting and competitive cars. One of the more interesting American race participants in the 1960s, this one by Vignale is especially attractive. I have a dozen 1/43 scale Cunningham in my collection, mainly resin. Neo has produced a variety of C3s.

Beautiful!

If anyone gets the chance, go to Revs in Naples FL. Lots of Cunninghams and a myriad of other amazing cars.

Retired in Dunedin, Florida.

@david-green A thread on Briggs Cunningham's cars / 1/43 models would be really interesting 🙏.

@chav Thanks for posting these fabulous photographs. Two beautiful models: Is the Talbot-Lago M.A. Collection or possibly Chromes?  The Cunningham is stunning. I love these two reds, so close in tone that without the chrome banding separating the two, they would look just like shine.

@charles-rockett

MA Collection

chromes did the two tone blue and mint-chocolate versions.

Dalton Watson just issued a new Peter Larsen’s book for the restoration of the two tone blue chassis 110101 to mint chocolate. Nice book. LE of 600, will fly off the shelf quickly. I just got it.
