Have the Brooklin version in 1/43 scale.
Something different. Yes, totally different. It was heralded in the '30's as something really innovative and before its time. Cute little bugger isn't it!
I had the Brooklin version but recently sold it. It was a cool and very unusual model; I always wondered why Brooklin chose it to model. I guess you could say it was the original SUV?
William Stout was an airplane designer/engineer. The motor for the vehicle was a flathead Ford mounted in the rear.
I've just missed the 1/43 a couple of times, hope to snare one. Genuine unique vehicle thanks John
Back in 1936 the new car price was $5K...part of why it never caught on.

@sizedoesmatter We had a toaster when I was growing up that looked like that, but I don’t think it had windows.
Love these.... I wish I could have one in 1/18 scale .... but I know I'm dreaming. 😔 😔 😔
