Very nicely sculpted shape, and the grille and bumpers are well integrated and not ridiculously overdone as on some design studies.
But I agree with George that those exaggerated and heavily chromed front wheel cut-outs spoil an otherwise subtle design, so once again I felt compelled to dabble around with it. As always, feel free to ignore.
Glad you approve. Obviously someone will always say "But you've removed its unique styling feature." No arguing with that, but I thought this particular "unique styling feature" was somewhat misjudged. Matter of taste, as always.

Part of the exercise that is conceptual on some of these cars, is the outlandish nature of bits and pieces that go into the design. No doubt the front sculpted wheel wells were one. Your amendment is an improvement, indeed, if this were to be made into a production vehicle back then. The rear wheels are not nearly as cantankerous and over-the-top. Is it too much to wonder what their match, on the front, would look like?

Agree with Tony...That's what a concept car is all about!
May be good links for you but my antivirus blocked access to both of them as "dangerous websites" (phishing risk)! Same result when I tried to google "macsmotorcitygarage" directly.
