The 1947 Cisitalia 202 Coupé was a road-going grand tourer based on modified Fiat mechanical components, known for its agile handling and responsive driving experience.

Thanks John. The design was certainly advanced for 1947. It always amazes me how the European car makers got so much performance out of such small displacement engines.

David, glad you like. Sadly I've only come upon it recently. I was swept away by its design taking into account its from 1947.

@sizedoesmatter Yes John. A friend has an Abarth Fiat that he let me drive recently. The car was the most fun I've had in a long time especially in sport mode. While the car is small it was quite roomy inside for two 200 pound guys.

I had the pleasure of seeing the Cisitalia in MoMA's collection many times. I worked not far from there for Verizon, and for years we had free passes to the major museums. I'd go at lunch and look at the Cisitalia, Guernica (when it was still there) and/or the Rothkos. It was a terrific perk.
