When I saw the choices for tonight, I thought before looking at the pics, it would be easy to decide.  So much for that thought.  Being honest none of them really grab my fancy, but because it has the '40 Ford GRILL influence, I choose LINCOLN for tonight.

@georgeschire   Again we agree.  Lincoln please.  Almost chose "no interest in these selections".

I found these three very elegant but like the Caddy best.  That Packard is just a gorgeous machine and the Lincoln is very cool.

I really like the Packard 160 with the Lincoln Continental a close second and the Cadillac somewhat behind. I find American automobiles from this period very appealing.

@jack-dodds Jack I am with you.  Even though George makes a good point, I like the nose on the Lincoln since it is a 40 model, but the rest of the car says nothing so for me it is a distant 3rd.

I feel the same way about the Lincoln.  The nose is beautiful but IMHO the back half seems comparatively older looking and kind of chunky.  Maybe it is because of the gorgeous Lincoln Zephyr's sleek appearance; hard to beat that styling home run.

I love them all, but with these the Lincoln looks contemporary while the other two are hanging on to the last.
For me, Lincoln, Packard & Cadillac.

John, you said it better than I did in my previous post.  I like the Lincoln, because of the Ford "grill" look, but the Lincoln also seems to have entered 1940 leaving the 1930's styling behind.

LOL, proof that perhaps lightning does strike twice.  And this instance, even more times than that.  Smile
