I like the Continental for what it is. But, the front end, after '41, never sat well with me. I'll take the Cadillac.

I don't know what it is about the Lincoln, but I just never liked this design. I had a few of the FM models, but sold them.
Prefer the Lincoln overall to the Cadillac but both are not on my favourite lists.
Ther Continental was the only post war American car to be recognized by the Classic Car Club until a few years ago when they voted to accept the Chrysler Town and Country woodies. I always like the Lincoln for it's stately appearance but was never impressed by the anemic V12. The Cadillac, with it's pontoon fenders which it shared with the senior Oldsmobiles, was a look I always liked but never thought of as being beautiful. The Cadillac's engine being a cast iron flat head V8 out performed the Lincoln. On looks alone, the Lincoln but on overall build quality, the Cadillac. The Cadillac by a nose.
Cadillac for me too. More advanced engineering, more futuristic looks. Like others have said, the nose of the Lincoln is ungainly compared to the original.

My thoughts mirror those of John K. Cadillac gets the nod easily.
I’ll go with the Cadillac here. 👍

This one was easy. CADILLAC! I have the FM models of the Lincoln and it's never looked right to me. Too odd shaped for my taste.

Luxury cars before '56 I have no interest in.
The Lincoln is nice, but not as nice as the Cadillac.
