DeSoto derails chief Pontiac for that beautiful grille.

DeSoto, the hoodline is much lower and gives the car an overall sleeker appearance. Plus the color is outstanding!

Based on the looks of the grille, hood, wheels and overall crispness of the car - DeSoto!!

De Lovely DeSoto.  That grille gets me every time.

I like the Desoto for a ton of reasons. But the Pontiac shows changes in design to come. I still voted Desoto.  There was a nice display of Desotos at the Rockville Antique Auto show in Maryland last Saturday

DeSoto to me in this pairing seems to be in another class.

David, without a doubt. In my attempt to keep things interesting I sometimes exceed class limits. This series has been going on since 2017...maybe it's time to pull the plug?

I gave the nod without hesitation to the Pontiac.  To my eye its styling is much sleeker than the DeSoto which looks chunky in comparison.

@sizedoesmatter

Indeed a long running and successful series John, but it must be hard to keep coming up with fresh choices, something that you continue to do well. It has also continues to be a popular feature that we look to each day.
If you feel that you have gone through all likely combinations, you may be ready yourself for trying something else.

Have you considered repeating some of your earlier selections to see if preferences have evolved. Also, maybe not your favourites, but you have few pre-1939 cars in your posts and few none USA vehicles.
I realize that your target audience is most interested in post war US vehicles.

Whatever, it has been an excellent series of posts and you are commended for your dedication and hopefully fun for you, hard work.
