Although I like the look of the Buick, my father always said Packard was the best.

Though I like the Packard, against the Buick...BUICK WINS! I think the '49 Buick is one of the real beautiful cars of the era.

Packard, but it was very close. As Frank said the Packard was a bit more regal. Funny but later Buick ended up naming one of it's models a Regal.
