'49 Buick is one of the all-time great automobile styling masterpieces, in my opinion.

Though I like the Packard, against the Buick...BUICK WINS! I think the '49 Buick is one of the real beautiful cars of the era.

Tough choice this time. The nod goes to Packard for being a bit more regal looking than the Buick. The Packard was a car to cruise in and be seen in. The Buick, IMO, was a car to have fun in, especially with the top down.
Packard, but it was very close. As Frank said the Packard was a bit more regal. Funny but later Buick ended up naming one of it's models a Regal.
Buick for me. I am not all that keen the bathtub Packards.
