Like both almost equally. But add in the equation for the movie, "The Rainman" and the iconic car used in it and I automatically vote Buick!
(The first car used in "Driving Miss Daisy" was a maroon '49 Hudson but in the form of a Commodore 8 Coupe.
Years ago I would have said Buick without hesitation but as the years have passed the Hudson as begun to become more of a favorite of mine. I'm still going Buick although it was quite close.
The sleek Hudson for me.

My thoughts as well.....Buick gets the nod by a slim margin. One Hudson convertible detractor is the bulky windshield header.
A really tough one for me today. I decided by a hair to go with the BUICK. However either would be welcome in my driveway or garage.

While I like the colour of the Buick better than the maroon, I am especially taken with that Hudson overall.
Hudson please. Families choice of car brand when I was a kid, used to hear about "the old Essex" then it was the Terraplane that I can barely remember, Mom's '48 brown Commodore, father's black '49 Commodore, sister [10 years older than me] '53 blue Wasp. Uncle & aunt had a few. Father & Uncle Fred built and drove Hudson's on paved oval race tracks [Bridgeport & West Haven] in the late '40's - early '50's, won track championship one year car #16 on 1/5 mile in Bridgeport Conn..
Never owned a Hudson myself.
Both cars are among my all-time favorite car designs, which makes it very hard to choose one over the other.
The body-style presented by John made my decision for me; the beautiful Hudson is not at its best in convertible form, so today I vote for the beautiful Buick.

I don't care for either. So no interest in this pairing.
A slight edge to the Buick, I’d prefer a ‘51 Hudson and this is such an iconic Buick style. So Buick for me today.

I'm a long time fan of the '49 Buick.
