I rather like the Mercury somewhat more in this pairing. Just looks a little cleaner.

I really like the Pontiac but love the Mercury. In 1956 I bought a 50 Mercury so it will always be a wonderful reminder to me of kinder, gentler times full of hope for the future.

I am a huge Pontiac fan and give the nod to it this time by a hair; mainly because of the HT roof style.  If the comparison Poncho was just a 2dr.post the Mercury would have won.

I went with the Mercury too. There's a reason it became a platform for so many customs.

Gotta love the Mercury, but going with the Pontiac since we had a '49 Catalina which was very similar to the one pictured here.
