Mercury please. The only shoebox Ford I like is the '51.

Shoebox please, although I agree the '51 does it better with its double bullet grille.

Old school for me; Merc. To my eye only, it has more styling and graceful lines. I suppose there's a reason why the 49 - 51 Fords are called a shoebox.

I voted a tie. I can't really say I like one over the other in stock form. Now customized, it'd be the Merc all day long.

I've always preferred Ford over Mercury. The Mercury looks a decade older.
