I voted Hudson, beautiful lines nose to tail.

Both are very nice cars but in convertible form I prefer the Mercury.  The thick windshield header of the Hudson just doesn't look attractive to me.  If they were both coupes, Hudson would win.

I like both but I prefer the Hudson more overall. Love to try either one.

I like both of them, but have owned neither.  Good lookers!

I don't like to vote "Tie".  But in this instance, even with a loaded gun to my temple and the holder of the gun saying he will shoot if I don't "pick one" over the other, he'll have to shoot me, because I can't pick one over the other.

I LOVE BOTH!  For 1949 through 1951, I've always been in love with the styling of the Hudson's and Mercury's.  So it's a TIE.

Both beautifully styled cars, unlike JD l find the heavy windshield header on the Hudson to be unique and attractive…..

Both beautiful, but I think the Step-down Hudson is one of the all-time great designs so it gets my vote.

Love the '48 - '54 Hudson.  Like the '49 - '51 Mercury.  Voted tie, don't care for the over sized roof-windshield header on the Hudson either.

I voted for the Mercury. It has a discreet sculptured look that I like. Like the Hudson too but not fond of the thick windshield header.
