I like both bt the Merc a touch more. Cleaner, more flowing lines on the side and just a nicer 'look'.

The Mercury is nice but there is something about the 50s Fords I fine appealing.

Mercury. The double bullet grille makes it look wider and gives it presence.

Retired in Dunedin, Florida.

I like both but lean more toward the Mercury, mainly because of its better looking interior.

I voted tie. Like them both. Dad had the Ford and Grandpa had the Mercury.

Dad bought a new Ranch Wagon in early 1953 and having 3 older siblings and the latest baby in front with mom this was my view many times…from the “way back” of course, but I still like the Mercury better.

I think Ed nailed it. Both are great cars, but the Mercury looks classier.

They are both really nice ! My Grandfather had a 1952 Ford wagon and my Dad got a 1953 Chevrolet Bel Air.

For me these two cars could almost pass for twins. So, is it a tie? Not for me...I'm voting for the slightly more compact Ford with the cleaner grille.

Gents, thanks for your replies.
