Both are Elephants, but I'll go with the Cadillac.  In comparison to the Packard, it looks much newer.

Sorry, not a Cadillac fan in the post WWII era. Even on its terminal slide, I'll still take the Packard.

The sleek sides of the Packard versus the bloated Cadillac image. Packard all the way. It looks more modern. You can still see the Cadillac of the 40s hiding under the chrome.

Don't care for either one of the choices, so I chose the lesser of two uglies the Packard.   I am not really into luxury cars. 

Cadillac: '57 & '58 Series 62, '61 & 62, Allante, '92 - 2002 Eldorado

Lincoln: '56 Premiere, Mark III, Mark VII

Chrysler: '62 300H, '70 300H

The only luxury cars I actually like the styling of.
