These keep getting tougher and tougher - John, you magnificent wizard!

I love both of these. My vote comes down to the marque I like slightly better, overall; the Buick.

Packard styling appeals to me just a smidge more so Packard gets the nod.

@perrone1 Well said Tony. I would venture to say anyone who was around in the fifties was impressed when these two beauties were introduced. Still today they are two of my most favorite cars of all times. While I would love to own either one in 1/1 scale, the Packard with it's straight Eight engine and four barrel carb was impressive but the  Buick just stands out a bit more for it's first year Buick V8 engine. John, your comparison was right on brother.

I have to agree with Bob & Tony on this pairing.  I went with the Buick for it's toothy grin.

Buick for me too for its low profile.

I've always loved that handsomely styled Buick. I treasure my blue Motormax model. I wish, don't we all at times, that SunStar or some other higher end manufacturer made one.

This is one of those easy ones for me.  THE BUICK without even a second thought!

Side-by-side with the Packard, the latter seems extremely bulbous, dated, and old-man looking.  While the Buick looks forward in styling with a very sporty and more youthful draw to it.  And that "toothy grill" seals the deal.

I still like the Buick. 👍 That Packard has grown on me though (my father would have like it).  ✌️

I guess I have a thing for lower hoodlines and the Packard has got that in spades so for that reason, it gets my vote today.

Excellent choice of color for comparability today...actually, not just today, but as usual. Always well thought-out, John!

Two outstanding images...tough call. Coin flip picks Packard.

Gents, thanks for the pics and responses.
