'54 Oldsmobile or Packard?

Packard all the way. It truly looks a cut above the Olds, to my eye.

Olds all the way especially the 98 series which to my eye was a graceful flowing design. By 1954 the Packard had become long in the tooth.

The Olds looks so much better and is so much more modern.

The OLDSMOBILE all the on this one. I like the Packard too, but next to the Olds, it looks boxy and very late 40's like.

This was a very close and difficult comparison for me. I have always liked the '54 and '55 Olds more than the '53 and '56 and I also prefer the tail end of the '52-'53 Packard to the '54.......so round and round I went and gave the nod by a hair to Olds.
