Poll: Which '55? (10/23/2021)

I find the Imperial Coupe particularly attractive. Both vehicles look great in black.

I voted Cadillac but think that Imperial is a beauty as well (that roof line is stunning)

Cadillac. Had it been 1956, opposite result.

I'll take the Imperial. The Cadillac is also very nicely styled but the Imperial just stands out. I particularly like the open wheel wells. 

That beautiful Imperial! In its first year as a stand-alone make.

The Imperial looks and style are, to my eyes, so much better than the Cadillac. It looks new & fresh, whereas the Cadillac is just a another redo of the previous years. 

OMG!  No-contest, CADILLAC for me!  It was in the middle year of becoming perfection for 1956. 

I've said so many times that Cadillac for '56 was the most perfectly styled of any during the fifties. 

The '54 started the look, '55 refined it a little, and then in '56 it was PERFECT!  Comparing the '55 above to the Imperial, is in my opinion, like comparing an apple to an orange. 

The Imperial looks very old, stodgy, and dated in comparison.  I actually get goose-bumps just looking at the CADILLAC!  

For '55, the Imperial was all new.  The Cadillac was just a warmed-up '54.  Of course, I was just dreaming about them then, a high school student driving Daddy's car.

As much as I love the Cadillacs of this era, the Imperial styling is sleeker, cleaner and more beautiful IMHO.  My fave year for Imperial by far.

Interesting this came up now. Yesterday I had my 55 Imperial at a car show and it won people's choice award out of 448 cars in the show.
