Almost forever, I would have picked the fabulous Ford first. But as it has grown on me over the decades, I'm going with Chevy, then Ford, then Plymouth.
Chevy ( my favorite of the tri-fives), Ford (in 56 it would have been 1st), that Plymouth is still pretty cool though. 😎✌️

Same as above.

Frank said it best IMO.
All 3 are ALL-NEW and BIG improvements over the '54s. They are truly competitive for '55! I know Chevy won the sales race but I think the Plymouth was the MOST improved so for its effort, I give it my vote!

I know the '55 Chevy has a special place in the American heart but as yet, I've not got! As Tony put it: the 'fabulous Ford' gets my vote.
I have to agree with most everyone. The Chevy, Ford, Plymouth for 55. I knew immediately without looking at the pictures it was Chevy ad the 55 is my favorite of the tri-series.
Chevrolet! The first car that I drove regularly and practiced with for my licence. My father had the Bel Air Sports Coupe in dark blue and white, bought new in 1955.
Chevrolet Bel-Air is the clear winner in '55 IMHO. It is my favorite car of its class for styling and build quality. All three of these cars were completely redesigned this year and they are very attractive offerings; I would be proud to own any one of them. My vote would go to Ford in the following two years though.
Tie in '55. Love both the Chevy & the Ford, Plymouth is last.

Without having to say it Frank, you said it for me. Word for word, our opinions are the same!

This is extra tough for me. All three have sentimental forces pulling and tugging in every which way. So here's my ranking...The Crown Vic, Bel Air and the Belvedere by the closest of margins.

@sizedoesmatter I added an inappropriate comment to this topic a while back that I thought was humorous at the time, but after re-reading it I decided to delete it because it could be inappropriate and hurtful to some people. For anyone who may have read it, I humbly apologize.
