As much as I'm a MOPAR guy, the Star Chief model of Pontiac, with its longer wheelbase and body, stood out as a cut above in this class.

In this order for me. 1) Mercury 2) Pontiac 3) Dodge. But like all three.

I love all three of these cars but the more aggressive looking Mercury styling gives it the edge by a nose. Pontiac then Dodge for 2 & 3 but again incredibly close. Love the tri-color on the Dodge.

I think the Mercury has these 3 beat. The nose is quite appealing.

Mercury is my #1, and in pictures the Pontiac looks next but in the real thing I prefer the Dodge; so I'll just choose the Mercury and let the other two go on their own ways.
