The Packard, one of my favorites, stands a better chance against Cadillac in 1956. At the zenith of beautiful. But, unfortunately, 1956 was one monumental year for the Caddy as well. Here I am picking Cadillac.

It's a draw for me. I love both of these mid 50's behemoths for their own respective beauty and class. I'd feel like royalty driving either.💯😊

I love both. But when I see the Packard, my mind always goes to "what might have been." It's tinged with just a hint of melancholy. When I see the Cadillac, I think, "They were setting trends and establishing design language that would last in various forms for decades. I vote Caddy.

Packard please John. I was sorry to see it end. While I loved 1930s Cadillacs, I never took to post war designs.

Both are nice but the Cadillac shows a bit more restraint when it comes to trim. Cadillac.

While the Packard is a masterful rework of the '51-'54 body, got to go Cadillac on this one. It was a tough choice.

I am not a real big fan of the big Cadillac's of the 50's, but it just looks more luxurious than the Packard, so it got my vote.

Keep them, no interest in either one. If I wanted a boat, I would have bought one that at least floated, they both would have made good ship anchors.
The only Cadillac styling I like is the '57-'58 & the '61-'62. As far as Packard goes I never cared for any of them.
Never owned a luxury car and never missed them. To me cars were mean to drive not float around and make me appear wealthy. You know, like the electric cars of today, just float around and people think you are wealthy because you could afforded an electric car.

Packard is my choice today. Never liked 50-55 Caddies.
