I so totally agree. That "mid fifties excitement" was all about the cars not looking old. They were bigger, glitzier, colorful, and had motors that intrigued kids who wanted to drive them.

Mercury is nice, but there is nothing "entry level" about this Buick Special. Buick gets my vote.
