If cars were like people, I get the feeling that this pair started out as Chevrolets that pigged out eating for months and really should go on a strict diet.

LOL! Excellent David! Buick loved the Buffet tables and Olds too often frequented smorgasbords!

Well, I was going to pick the Buick easily with a minor consideration for the Olds, but the Ingrid Bergman/Oldsmobile and Lauren Bacall/Buick reference blew me away. Looking at them that way and Lauren/Buick will get every bit of my attention.  Love Kiss

I know a lot of folks like the Olds. But if I were to compare it to an actress, to me it looks more like Joan Crawford, who had a slightly too-wide mouth.

Never thought I'd see the day come when people were choosing cars based on the looks of their fellow humans.  We've hit a real low-tide here John.  Shocked

Buick was a rung up from Olds on the GM ladder and absolutely looks it! Buick for me.

@georgeschire I agree with George, that’s why I chose not to use this actress’s photo for the ‘51 Studebaker in the previous poll!

I'm always amazed how each of us sees cars in different ways.  To my eyes, from '55 to '58 Oldsmobile beat out Buick in the looks department.  In '59 and '60 Buick took the lead and then in '61 both of them were butt ugly!  When '62 dawned, Oldsmobile took back the lead and kept it through the sixties decade!

It's just a little levity, tongue-in-cheek fun; nothing to get offended over.

Oh I know it was tongue-in-cheek Tony.  I did actually think it was amusing that the comparisons were referenced.  So no worries, no offence taken.

These are two beautiful cars produced by GM in 1956. I'm going with the Oldsmobile because my uncle had a brand new Olds in 1956.

Gents thanks for your responses.
