Today I’m giving very slight edge to Chevy over the Ford, would love either one. The Plymouth is pretty cool also.  What a great year! 😎

Ford 1st, the Bel Air is closely behind and then Plymouth. But to be honest, I'd really take any of them.

I love them all but prefer the beautiful Ford; it is my favorite Ford of that decade by far.  The Chevy and Plymouth follow closely in that order.  I just love the trim designs that accommodate the 2-tone paint application so well....and all three are quite different!

John, you picked fabulous examples of all 3!

Given my propensity for Mopars, I go with the Plymouth, in that color especially!

This one was a little tougher than I thought it would be.  I voted this way: 1) Ford  2) Chevrolet  3) Plymouth.

I like the Ford because of the nice improvements from the '55.  The grill is more attractive and I like the parking lights better.  Also, the best improvement was the dash on the '56 Ford.  As for the Chevy, of the "Tri-Chevy's", I've always liked the '56 the best.  Finally, the Plymouth fell in to third place because of the fins.  I didn't care for them then, and still don't think they look right today.

Had it been a '55 Plymouth, voting would have been a little tougher for me.  In fact, if all three were '55's, my voting would have been like this: 1) Plymouth  2) Chevy  3) Ford.  Oh the difference a year makes.

Love all three bu the Ford wins for me as I bought a Victoria in 1960. It was wonderful car with factory A/C. Sold it when I went into the Navy. Ford, Chevy, Plymouth.
