Both classic, both beautiful. Again, no wrong answer. For me, it's the wheels and overall styling - Buick!

The 1956 Buick is one of my favorites, but I love the Packard more. It wins.

I’ve come to appreciate the Packard more over the years.  👍👀

Today the Packard is an easy choice for me.  Having owned a '56 Packard, I can tell you that a significant difference in the Packard vs GM offerings was the superb ride/handing balance that Bill Allison's wonderful 'torsion level' suspension on the Packard offered.  The 1956 model year saw notable quality control improvements over the '55 Packards, but, by then, the sun was already setting on the marque.

I don't know.  I look over the 2 photos a number of times, and to me the Buick just looks to be the luxurious car out of the 2.  So Buick for me today.  Tough Choice.

Going on looks, I like the classicism of the Packard, although the Buick is very stylish, Packard for me.

Dave, I appreciate the perspective from a former owner...thank you!

I am too strong a Packard fan to not choose it in any comparison of American vehicles.

PACKARD

The changes to the Buick from the beautiful '55 were enough to sway me over to the PACKARD.

I like them equally, but for sentimental reasons, as Packard's "Swan Song", that '56 gets my vote today.

Buick for me. The 56 Buick Roadmaster has always been a favorite of mine as a friend of my parents bought one new and let me drive it. I'm sure the Packard was a wonderful car but my experience with the Buick sold me on the quality and luxury of the car.

They are both such beautiful 1950's American automobiles. Either one would be a real bonus to have and drive. They would both be real stars at any cruise night in America.
