'56 DeSoto or Pontiac?

Like this year DeSoto sleeker styling more than the Pontiac but much prefer the 1955 model year for both.

But I would rather drive the DeSoto so that's my pick today.

I'm a big fan of the 1956 DeSoto. It looks terrific, and wins easily.

Much prefer the DeSoto, didn't care for Pontiac until '57.

DeSoto for me. Not a fan of those big Pontiacs or Oldsmobile's.

DESOTO! Another easy one this morning. For '56, to my eyes the DeSoto and the Oldsmobile are the two "wish I had one" cars! I'll mention that the stand alone best looking car for '56 is the Cadillac, but since the DeSoto and Oldsmobile were for "regular people", those are my two '56 favorites.

@carsman1958 The '56 DeSoto was larger than the '56 Pontiac with greater overall length, width and a longer wheelbase.
