Driving either one of these beauties in 1957 certainly meant you had it made ! Gorgeous fins on each automobile here.

Or rather that you promoted the illusion that "you had it made".

I voted "No Interest". Neither greets my eyes with styling satisfaction. In fact, the Imperial is mess to look at, as nothing flows well on it.

I started to leave no interest as well, but went with the Caddy. If it was a better representation of the Imperial as that picture does not do that car any justice.
Lol, I think if you were actually driving one of these beautiful and rather expensive automobiles around in 1957, you really weren't faking it and had to have some serious bucks to afford either of these high-priced sweethearts !
Like George said, no interest in the Imperial. However I do like the Caddy. There are only 2 Caddies I like and the '57 is in second place behind the '62.
Voting in 1957 would be a more difficult proposition. Both were the pinnacle of luxury & class. Today, however, might be completely different. Many people would not realize that the top of the line Chrysler product was the Imperial. But most know that the Cadillac, was GM's finest. Caddy for me John.
I voted Cadillac for its lithe look, almost sporty.

I like the imperial. I just never liked Cadillacs.
Cadillac for both it's looks and build quality.
I picked Imperial. It just looks more modern.😊
The Cadillac for me.
Gents, thanks for your responses.
