Only because I owned one (2 dr coupe) do I vote 57 Ford. I'd prefer mine sans skirt.

I LOVE both cars but prefer the Ford styling and trim application to highlight its 2-tone colors.  This was another close one for me.  No skirts or bumper trim bar for me as well.

Absolutely! I hate that cheesy bumper bar.

@perrone1   I always try to avoid cheesy metal trim bits whenever possible.

Ford for me too. It looks so much better. You can see why Ford outsold Chevy in 1957.

Retired in Dunedin, Florida.

Bob, thanks for not picking on the fender skirts or the grill bar.

For me, '56 was FoMoCo's best styling year and '57 was GMC's best. ['58 was nobodies]

'57 Chevy front is beautiful and so was the dash, .but the side trim and rear are not  To make the perfect Chevy the '55 rear clip and side trim should be on the '57.

This rear and side trim on this car.

I like the Ford in most years but today I will take the

Chevy today. Hood opens the wrong way on the Ford, lol.

How about one of you guys putting it together with photo shop, please.

Yes, I don't understand why those trim pieces were mentioned either. Neither car pictured has them.

Both are pleasantly styled cars. a narrow win for the Ford from me.

Graeme, a little tongue-in-cheek. After a couple posts about skirts and bumper bar on the Ford, John switched photos brilliantly. Cool
