Ford. Never got the 57 Chevy love, and especially now that it's been terribly overexposed. No wonder Ford won that year's sale's battle.

Retired in Dunedin, Florida.

I have to pick the BelAir. My father had this one and I dated heavily with it. Too many good memories to not choose it.

Ford for me. I have always thought the Ford design for 57 was clean and fresh.

Despite years of over exposure, I dig 57 Chevys

I'd vote FORD all day, every day for '57.  The irony with the overexposed popularity of the Chevy is that in '57, Ford actually outsold Chevy that year and overtook first place.  But it's the Chevy that has the cult following.

Never been a '57 Chev fan-  now the '56 Chev is a favorite-  I always liked the '57 Ford-  especially the cheaper models with less trim-

Love them both. Going with the Ford by the narrowest of margins.

Both of them topped the spirit of the 'fifties:  chrome, sculpted metal, tail fins, and quick rust.  For style, I like the Ford, but not much. Exhausted David H

I absolutely love both cars but give the Ford the nod because of the way the trim accommodates beautiful 2-tone application.  I also LOVE the tail lights of the Ford.

First car I drove after I got my learners permit was a ‘57 Bel Air 4 door hardtop,

gotta go with the Chevy, especially in that blue 2 door post body style.
