A stellar year for automotive design in my opinion. In today's examples, it's tough for me, with the exception of the DeSoto. I hated it! For '58 I thought the DeSoto and Dodge must have been the result of a drug trip gone bad. They were awful looking. But the other three of todays choices are absolute knock-outs. LOVE 'EM! So that brings me to rating them. 1) PONTIAC 2) EDSEL 3) MERCURY. I'd drop the DeSoto off at the scrap-yard.

While I’m a DeSoto fan, I had trouble warming to this one.
These in order for me: Mercury, Pontiac, DeSoto and finally Edsel. Edsel just not look right with all the superfluous styling add one.
And for me it's all about the DeSoto, followed very closely by the Pontiac. Mercury third.

DeSoto, Pontiac, Merc and Edsel. 👍

I always enjoy how all of us have different reasons for liking or not liking certain cars. It's what makes this car hobby so great. When it comes to what each
of us likes or dislikes, there are NEVER ANY WRONG ANSWERS. In the end, WE LOVE CARS.

Here Here! Very well said, we agree again.
I couldn't decide so I picked De Edsel so it wasn't shut out of the poll.
BRUSH...I've absolutely no problem with your difference of opinion. Life would be so boring if we all liked the same stuff and no variation in though.

Pontiac for me. A tie for the DeSoto, Mercury and Edsel.
I like all of them but the Pontiac gets my vote then DeSoto, Edsel, Mercury in that order.
