Tie for me. Don't like or dislike either one.  Both the best looking of GM's offerings in '58 which I think suck.  GM line up '57 I love, '58 I dislike.

Pontiac for sure, although they're both nice. I agree that at least Buick and Oldsmobile completely lost the plot in 1958.

Retired in Dunedin, Florida.

As you know, I hate voting a TIE.  But in this instance, being a fan of GM's outstanding styling for 1958 (except Cadillac, which was totally destroyed after the beautiful '56), I couldn't vote any other way than a TIE between Chevy, Pontiac, Oldsmobile, and Buick.  They are works of art and in my opinion just walk-a-way gorgeous foursome!

Chevrolet. For me it is the best of G.M.'s 1958 offerings.

Today it's the Pontiac by a nose but tomorrow it could be Chevy....it's that close.  I love them both.

I really don't like either of them but if I was forced to pick one I would pick the Chevy for its cleaner design. I don't like that big spear thing on the side of the Pontiac.

Chevy by the slightest of margins. Both are light years ahead of the disastrous Oldsmobiles and Buicks in 1958. To this day I will never understand how the beautiful 57s turned into these ugly ducklings.

Not my favourite year but I lean to the Pontiac.

'58 Impala...to my eye, without the Chevrolet badges, I'd guess it was a Cadillac. So rich and upscale looking!

Two outstanding designs from the '50s. Today it's the Pontiac by the smallest of margins.
