@jack-dodds Man, I love that. What I wouldn't give to have that exact car done in 1/24. Way cool.🤑
I voted a tie.
The Chevy is really interesting design wise and I like it.
Fords in the late fifties were squared and did not have fins so to speak. Of the 57-59 Fords I like the 1959 best. Thus…..a tie.
With the bat wings & cat eyes the Chevy is just too far out for me, doesn't look like a car to me. I much prefer the square body & round tail lights of the Ford, looks like a car should.
My family had the 1959 Chevrolet. It was the worst family car for Winter driving that we ever had. Too light on the rear and too much motor for icy roads in Canada. Got the award for the most 360s without hitting anything. I went with Ford this time.
Ford for me. Sans the fender skirts.
I have always like the 59 Impala. The 59 along with the 58 are the worst looking Fords to me. I used to feel that way about the 60 Ford, but I kind of like it now.

Interesting. I really like all of the Fords, post war through the 50s and 60s but my least favorite of the bunch was always the '60. In recent years however I have really warmed up to its styling. I think it may have been the flat fins the lack of signature (traditional round Ford) tail lights that put me off.

I've always loved the rear styling of the 58 & 60 Fords because of the non round taillights. It gave them a more unique look. But that's just me. 😊
They are both nicely styled cars and as already mentioned - very different from each other. My great aunt had a '59 Impala for years and my grandmother had a '59 Fairlane, I always liked seeing the Ford a bit more than the Impala. As a kid I seem to remember that I really liked the taillights on the Ford, whereas the Impala's scared me a bit. LOL!
I'm picked the Ford today.

Tough call, but it's the Impala that gets my vote.
