I have never owned a car to boost my ego or show off. I'm very fortunate to have owned some really nice cars in my life due to the restorations I did on them. If you have never restored a car you have no idea what is involved. When someone looks at one of my cars, all they see is a picture of a car, I see all of the efforts it took to create a car and appreciate the end result whether it is mine or not. Ego...no, pride yes.
Thunderbird. Over the years I have always liked the square Birds for their personal luxury niche in the car market. The 59 Cadillac was never something I had a desire to own and still feel that way today.
@georgeschire I too hate it when obnoxious and egotistical people try to be the center of attention.
@kevins LOL....now that is FUNNY! I would just die for a ride in that Caddy.
@jack-dodds Now that is one badass pony Jack! My late brother restored a ‘69 Boss 302 and had it repainted from its original grabber blue to Acapulco Blue. I totally loved that color. The photo here is an interweb photo, not his car. He left off the graphics as he didn’t want to come off as obnoxious and self centered!
@kevins Yessir it sure is and I'm just one small lottery win away from owing one. Should have scooped one up many years ago before they became SO collectable, but of course we all say that don't we?
I have scale diecasts representing the design versions of each of these iconic automobiles in various configurations and they are certainly among my favorites. These are really eye-catching American cars, as real or replica vehicles.
LOL, agreed this is funny. Talk about dying to have a ride in a '59 Caddy. The old saying, "Be careful what you wish for" comes to mind.

Your first color choice is outstanding. You’ve such great taste ! Also, I believe those Shelby’s might be early models because I remember an issue with those inboard lights being too close together. Please correct me if I’m mistaken.
