I harbor as many 'dislikes' on both cars as I favor 'likes'. Fifty-Nine was not my favorite automotive year - so a rare tie for me.

Chevy for me. I have never been a fan of the 59 Ford especially that cheap looking grill.

I like the look of both of these cars but tend to go with the comparatively traditional, understated Ford design.  I have always liked the round tail light design and trim application facilitating the beautiful 2-tone colors of Fords from '55 to '59.  I would be proud to own either of these beauties though.

Not a fan of the '59 Ford but, better than the overly too far out Chevy.

The only ‘59 vehicle more outrageous and cooler than the Impala is the El Camino!!

Funny, I was thinking "I never liked the '59 Ford" as I was scrolling through this thread!

I was very disappointed with both these back in 1959.

No contest for me as I've stated before the '59 Chevy has stolen my heart. My dad bought one brand new when I was 6 years old in white with that multi-hued blue interior. I absolutely loved that Impala.

The 1959 has always been my favorite Impala.  I am always attracted to them at car shows.   Like the 1958 Ford, I have never liked the looks of the 1959 Ford.

Love the far-out look of the Impala.
