I voted for the audacious Chrysler.

Oh MY! Two favorites. WOW - difficult to pick a winner. For sheer impact, I'm voting for the New Yorker. The Buick will make a slightly better statement with its lid lowered but I still favor the Chrysler by a nose.

What a smile on the Chrysler.  It gets my vote!

Two outstanding choices. I picked the Buick for the same reason George Schire picks many cars, the dashboard.

Thanks John for another tough decision. I've decided that if I was going to live with one of those beautiful vehicles it would be the Buick. However both are absolutely stunning. 👍

LOL, too funny Mr. Jackman.  You're right of course, dashboards are often times a deciding factor for me on liking a car.  But in the case of the '60 Buick, which I absolutely love by the way, I DON'T LIKE its dashboard.  I like the '59 Buick's dash so much better.  However in this instance, the dashboard on the Buick is NOT a distraction for me, as I think the styling outside is incredible.

In a very rare move, I voted TIE.  Reason being that to my eyes, the '60 CHRYSLER, BUICK, and I add MERCURY, are the only three cars from the Big Three for 1960 that have any style and beauty to them.  Each is a sculptured work of art, and I'd be delighted to have any or all of them in my driveway.

I give the nod to Buick today; mainly for its timely toning down of the fins and its more elegant styling.  Its look was quite unique this model year.

Like them both, but today I prefer the Buick.  The only full-size Buick I actually like. Favorite Chrysler is the '62, which beats any Buick.

In '60, I definitely would have bought the Buick.

I favor the Chrysler too...but not by a nose, by a TAIL! Those '60 Chrysler "boomerang" taillights are fantastic!

These two are fantastic specimens from 1960.   Both make bold statements.   Both came with ample power from very good motors.   I find their fins, though very different, to be among the best that America ever showed us.  However, having owned and driven both Buick and Chrysler products from 1960, it's my opinion that Chrysler's suspension and transmission deliver superior control, handling and overall driving experience to what the Buick offers.   So, from a 'behind the wheel' perspective, I give the Chrysler the nod today.  If I were to judge by styling alone, I'd have a difficult time choosing between them.

Tough call. The Chrysler is nice but not as nice as the Buick.

Thanks Gents for the pics and responses.
