I think '60 was Mercury's best styling year and this black beauty gets my vote today!

Not overly found of the Mercury but like Gape it better than the Olds.

Great comparison - I'd never realised how similar the nose treatments were on these two. I like both but have always admired the rear deck treatment on the '60 Olds, so that gets my vote.

I much prefer the styling of the Mercury.  I like the '60 Olds but it is far from my favorite of that marque; although better than that oddball '58.

Oldsmobile looks like a somewhat less cluttered design although I do like that black finish.

Oldsmobile was my least favorite for the 1960 GM lineup. This time I went with the black Mercury.
