Grille change and 6 taillights do it for me and that Thunderbird in white looks great.

@david-vandermeer This GM kid fell in love with the square bird when this Matchbox Lesney model was obtained. An absolute beautiful classic automobile!
PS , This one isn’t mine, wish I would have kept it.
Two lovely automobiles here. I have that exact Matchbox Thunderbird and it has always been a favorite of mine
@david-vandermeer My thoughts exactly David; those detail changes in '60 really improved the T-Bird. It gets the nod by the slimmest of margins...almost a tie.
@michaeldetorrice +1 I have it too Mike and love it....in spite of its odd color application.
I should be able to look at the two images and decide on looks alone. I just can't. Both are cars that I love. But from a common sense standpoint, I know that if I own the T-Bird, I'd have a lot less trouble replacing aging parts. The Studie? Good luck. And for all the reasons that David V. gives; I'm going Thunderbird!
Thunderbird for me. The Studebaker is showing its age.
Retired in Dunedin, Florida.
This was a lot closer for me than I first thought. When I was 18, our neighbor bought a square bird and I fell in love with that personal luxury car and the image is still as clear today as it was then. Thunderbird. Another fantastic comparison John.
Studebaker styling always left me a little cold, while I loved the square Birds.
I have that Matchbox also. I does add a fondness for the full sized car. I also had a friend who collected full sized Studebakers. I grew to love and appreciate them and the 1960 is my choice in this pairing.
The bird but I'd take that Studebaker in a heartbeat.
Love both. The 4 seat T-Bird was a big hit and sales took off. Unfortunately they become plentiful on the streets. I'm going with the Studebaker because it stood out in the crowd.
Gents, thanks for your responses!
