This was not a particularly good year for any of these brands, in my opinion but if I had to pick one to drive, it would be the Pontiac.
Three quite beautiful, yet completely different automobiles. Unique styling features and each very individualistic.
They're all terrific, but the Dodge is just too much fun to look at

Without any doubt, the MERCURY! A highlight in styling before it went back to a Ford look-a-like in '61.
The Dodge fins would become beautiful for '61, and after the stunning '59 Pontiac, the '60 version was bland and disappointing.
So yes folks, MERCURY FOR '60 FOR ME!

Pontiac by a hair over Mercury and Dodge third. I like them all though. These 3 are a great example of how very different the styling of various car companies was from one to the other and also how significant the changes were almost every year. This certainly added to the anticipation and excitement every September as the new models were introduced at the dealerships!
Mercury, Pontiac & Dodge. The Mercury is the most stylish of the three, after the '59, Pontiac is a bit bland but still a looker. The Dodge is cool to see, but so outrageous in styling I definitely wouldn't have chosen one of those new back in 1960.

I don't recall this model Dodge back in the day. In recent years I've grown fondly of it. That being said, I've been a longtime fan of the '60 Pontiac which is my #1 pick. The Dodge is a close 2nd, and the Mercury is a distant 3rd.
