WOW any one of those three would have looked fantastic in a 1960 suburban driveway. I love them all so the tiebreaker for me will be my favorite styling feature - taillights. That makes Mercury the winner for me tonight. A++ comparo, John!

This time, Pontiac, Mercury, then Dodge, John.
Dodge, Pontiac, Mercury.
Dodge, sporty & nimble looking [compared to the other two here]; Pontiac, simple straight forward no nonsense good looking [back in the day the best fit & finish of the three, as I remember]; Mercury, overweight overdone luxo boat. Just what I see when I look at these three cars, Would love to own the Dodge or Pontiac, not interested in the Mercury '57 to '60 but absolutely love the '56 & '61.
For me, it was between the Mercury and the Dodge. I chose MERCURY! With regard to the Pontiac, NOT A FAN EVEN A LITTLE BIT!
To my eyes, after the outstandingly styled '59 Pontiac, the '60 was an extreme letdown. Going a step further, I think the entire General Motors line-up was a letdown for 1960. For me they bordered on boring and bland in appearance.
Which brings me back to the MERCURY, WOW! After their over-chromed and gadget ridden '57s, '58s, and 59 models, the 1960 MERCURY was a breath of fresh air. The taillights on the '60 Merc, are the real clincher for me. That rear-end is beautiful!

Pontiac wins but the Dodge is a very close second. The Mercury is a close third. I almost tied these.
Retired in Dunedin, Florida.
Extremely close between 1st & 2nd, but Pontiac wins over Mercury for its roof line design and build quality. The Dodge (like the Plymouth) is a bit overdone by comparison to the others and seems more of a late 50s look; but I like it much more now than I did back in the day.
I'm with Brush....
Dodge
Pontiac
Mercury

Mercury 1st, tie for Dodge & Pontiac. As mentioned, the taillights on the Mercury are so awesome, but overall, the style of this one makes a statement.

Back in the day no one in my circle gave a rat's rump about the '60 Dodge or Mercury...it was all about the Pontiac. Keeping with that nostalgic thought, it's the Pontiac first and foremost and then a 2nd place tie for the Dodge and Mercury.
