Of the two the Dodge is sharper.

This is a great head-to-head comparison!

'60 is one of my favorite years for Mercury, and I have the 1/43 on my shelf, but even so, the space-age styled Dodge wins for me today.

Two quite interesting wagons. My wife had very good luck with all three of her 1960s and 70s Mercury wagons. I have to choose the Colony Park.

I always liked the Four-Door Hardtop Wagons!  These are two excellent examples and I like both.  My vote goes to the MERCURY.  Looks less complicated to me.

No interest in station wagons.  As I remember them, the car, the Mercury is more luxurious but rides like a boat which a lot of people love but I prefered the Dodge more stable ride, always prefered the drivetrain, and I was never into luxury.

I've always been amazed that back in the "Station Wagon" days of automobiles, most folks had no love for them.  They were often thought of as boring.  Ironically, in today's world, the majority of the car buying public prefers the bulbous SUV's, that in reality are just BIG Station Wagons.  Funny how times change.

They both look great-I do miss the station wagon. In these two, I like the Mercury a bit more than the Dodge-both are rare and seldom seen these days.

I choose the Dodge also. I've never liked the Merc and its windshield shape along with those widely spaced headlights.
The Dodge is more modern looking to me.
Thanks John for another interesting match-up.

Dodge by a landslide, particularly considering the rear 3/4 view.  As for the following year....they went off the rails.
