I love the Starfire but the '61 is not my favorite one. That 300, however, rocks! Great color combo too!
Chrysler for me too, but I do like both.
Retired in Dunedin, Florida.
Ha... I woke up early here on West Coast and can't believe that I beat George to this... My choice is that DDG Oldsmobile though I wouldn't kick that Chrysler out of bed for eatin crackers ! It is gorgeous too but somehow that Oldsmobile just has my name written all over it. Thank you and good morning John 👍

Tie, not fond of either one of them. Fronts are fine but I don't care for the rear view of either.
'61 I would have bought the Pontiac, Ford, or the Mercury.

Which car would have made the greater impression pulling up in front of the swanky Country Club in 1961?
I think the Chrysler has more of that "hey, look at me" presence than the Olds!

Tony, love the rear view of the '62 300 & '62 Starfire.
Barry, I never wanted to stand out in a crowd, but then again I could never afford a swank country club.
The beautiful Chrysler for me. The Olds is just bland.
For me, an absolute no-brainer! CHRYSLER!!! It is the last year for the great fins and it's gorgeous. The Oldsmobile to my eyes is only a tad better looking than the horribly bland 1960. Now if we flash forward to 1962 and have a comparison between Chrysler and Oldsmobile, the Oldsmobile wins out by a landside over the neutered (fin-less) Chrysler. Yup, today give me the CHRYSLER!

That Chrysler was my wedding car in black. Quite an attention getter and my favourite here.
The Chrysler is too over the top for me, I prefer the more conservative Olds. ✌️

OLDSMOBILE by a mile. Was never a fan of fins and by that time I was sick of them. When they plucked the fins in 62, the Chrysler became a beautiful car in my eyes.
