John, I believe your Cadillac is a 1963.
As much as I love the 1961 Cadillac, the Imperial wins for maximum nostalgia. I carried my 1/25th model with me for a few years when I was 5 to 7, like Linus with his blanket.
I mean, how outrageous is this thing?

I go with the CADILLAC, but only because I'd take it over the Imperial if I had a gun to my head and had to choose. Fact is, neither really grabs me.

The '61 Imperial was an attention grabber with its unconventional/retro headlight design but I much prefer the crisper lines of the Cadillac. The trimmed down tail fins on the '62 Cadillac made it even more attractive IMO; my fave Caddy of that decade.

The imperial is more attractive IMO, but I pick the Cadillac which I believe is overall a better car quality wise.
