Luv em both but my choice is definitely the Pontiac... Just look at its crisp, sharp lines !

I’ve posted this photo before, this tripower, 4 speed, Ventura bubbletop is my ultimate dream car! How can you not love those 8 lugs?
PS If I voted more than once, I didn’t mean to, had a hard time logging out.

Sixty-One was, overall, a good year for GM product styling. Like the 61 Chevy, LOVE the 61 Ventura!!

Both are outstanding but the sculptured Pontiac wins for me. The eight lugs are the cherry on top.

I went with the Chevrolet. Not a fan of Pontiacs until the mid 60's.

I'm in the minority on this one, as I've been before. I vote CHEVROLET!
Those that have followed my comments here on the Forum for awhile, know that I am NOT fan even a little bit of General Motors 1961 styling, with the exception being Chevrolet.
GM's Pontiac, Oldsmobile, and Buick with their curved up bumpers and pointy fenders are just not appealing to me.
I leave Cadillac out of this scenario because, though I'm not a fan of the 61 styling, it's miles ahead in looks compared to their horrific previous two years.
So hands down CHEVROLET for me today!

I'm always intrigued how two people can look at the same cars and have completely different perspectives of them. Tony, your comment, "Sixty-One was, overall, a good year for GM product styling", is a total 180 degrees from the way I see GM's 61 styling. This is what makes life interesting. Let's have another cup of coffee.

Love them both, Pontiac please. Like all '61 GM & Ford styling.

I fully expected to vote for the '61 Chevy as I generally prefer it to the Pontiac...however, I try to base my vote upon the pictured cars, so today I pick the Pontiac! It just looks so cool, crisp, clean in white!
