Seriously, I don't think there is ANY Oldsmobile that I prefer to the comparable Buick...

Olds styling by a mile in 62; especially the Starfire trim. I do like the Buick a lot as well though.

Being an Oldsmobile lover and having owned a '62 Starfire, there is no way I would vote for the Buick.  Thing is though, I like the '62 Buick as well.  But a Buick up against any Oldsmobile to me is not a fair comparison.  OLDS RULES!

Buick seem a bit unsure of where to go with the new youthquake emerging in the '60s whilst the Starfire is quite sure of where it's at; so for me the Olds' wins.  But that would all change with Riviera, the following year.

Olds for me.  I love the "double bumper" look of the front end and the Starfire trim can't be beat.
