Both are beautiful automobiles and were certainly the height of "personal luxury" cars in 1962. When I was a kid, I had a 1/25 promo of the '62 Chrysler and I currently have a gorgeous 1/18 diecast of the 1962 Thunderbird from Welly.
I like the vast majority of Chrysler 300 letter cars - a LOT! But the T-Bird with the sports roadster hard tonneau makes it something really special. For me, it's the Black Bird for my taste today John!
Thunderbird for me. I love its looks.

The 62 Chryslers without their fins are favorites of mine but up against a Sports Roadster the T-Bird wins. Nice comparison John.
T-bird please. I still don't like those canted headlights.🤢
The '62 Chrysler 300 is my all time favorite Chrysler and I would choose it over a T-bird hardtop, but the roadster, I choose over the Chrysler. Thunder chicken today's pick.
I choose the Chrysler here. One of my favourites. The Thunderbird is OK but I would not have bought it at the time. I like it slightly better today but not as much as the 300H.
Though I'm not a fan of Chrysler's NO FIN '62. I love the grill, the slanted headlights, the shape of the windshield and wing windows, and most importantly, the Dashboard. CHRYSLER with a landside win!

This is a nice match-up, but it's no contest for me. Those Bullet Birds were some of my favorites. Throw on a tonneau, and I get weak in the knees.

I like them both but the Chrysler's more imposing size gives it a greater "presence" so it gets my vote today.

I liked both, so I went with a tie.
Thunderbird but not by much as the Chrysler is awesome too.

I tried my best but couldn't place one over the other....it's a rare tie for me; love them equally.
Going with the T-Bird but I also like the 300.
Gents, thanks for your responses.
