I have to go with the Studebaker GT. It is virtually the same as a friend's 1962 issue which his father-in-law bought new and was inherited by him. It is a V8 automatic and still runs well. Firm ride without much sway and far more rigid than the Avanti.
Good group but I am partial to the Riviera.

Awe come on John...LOL, you made this tough. I love the Riviera as I explained in my "Coffee Talk" thread this morning, but throwing in the Pontiac Grand Prix made this a challenge for me, as I love that car. So after taking a big breath, I didn't let it sway me. I VOTED RIVIERA! For the record, I'd have chosen the Riviera over the Thunderbird had they just been "head to head", and the two Studebakers do absolutely nothing for me when being compared to the Riviera or the Thunderbird. But that Grand Prix almost threw a monkey wrench in to my decision. GREAT POST JOHN!!!

Riviera! One of the best body styles of all time, IMHO.

This is the toughest comparison yet!!! Three of these are so close I could change my mind in an hour but here goes. Pontiac GP is a car I absolutely have loved since the first time I set eyes on one so it gets #1. The Thunderbird is a VERY close second, followed an inch behind by the Riviera. The Studebaker Hawk is a strong forth and the Avanti 5th. What a great group!
And I'm going this way..
#1 Riviera
#2 T- Bird
#3 Hawk
# 4 Avanti
#5 GP
Dayum, this was a tough one to decide !
Kudos to you 2nyt !
They are all very desirable. I'd pick the Grand Prix for the one to own and drive but the Riviera for pure style.
All beautiful, but I want the GP. It's one of my favorite 60s cars. I love its style. Riviera second for its iconic looks.
Retired in Dunedin, Florida.
You're killing me!

All head turners! I picked them as listed.

Having restored both an Avanti and Thunderbird I still have to pick the Riviera but I like all of them. John you sure don't play fair.
